Tod Maffin Likes To Smell Good

Tod Maffin of the CBC has a new business venture.
He skipped Dragon's Den completely.
That's for wimps.
He'll just use his mind, and his computer and the internet.
He's a futurist, and he sees bath condiments in his future.

Unrelated to his other businesses, he has started up BATHGUY, and is cozying up to brand names.

Tod likes reviewing things, and he's found a way to capitalize on his desire to get free things in the mail.

And those products are expensive.
They're marketed as a premium product.

It's just starting up, but it shouldn't be long before Tod's product hypes really start moving merchandise.
Then Tod would even be able to invest in the company that he endorses on the web.
So where's the down side?

In fact, Tod could expand into other toiletries a swell.

And we have to assume from his enthusiasm for these products of varying scents, that Tod smells good when you meet him in person.

So I doubt that anyone could really say Tod stinks.
Just his ethics.

Alen,

I wonder if you'll publish this comment, since it contradicts your thesis that I have received compensation for reviewing products.

In fact, I bought that product with my own money on Robson Street in Vancouver.

Why would you dare me to delete the comment?

Do you want me to delete it?
Then why write it?

Tell me Tod, does the company in question know of your promotional efforts?
Were you the one who brought it to their attention?

You can fool some of the people some of the time ...

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
