IS TOD MAFFIN SICK?

Usually, a person's illness is considered a sacred topic, and untouchable.

But is Tod actually sick with something that warrants sympathy?
Or is there more to it?
And why ask such a question?

Because this is Tod Maffin.
And Tod is a manipulator, and gives the distinct impression that he'll resort to anything that's within his legal rights, and is partially truthful, if there's something to be gained for Tod Maffin.

And Tod is one person who knows that there are a lot of stupid, lazy, uninformed people out there, ready to hand over their minds and money to the right manipulator.

Maffin is gleefully rubbing his hands together at this point, hoping that finally I will give him something that can be used to distract from all that's gone before.
His Maffin Minions are waiting with baited breath for a statement that will confirm that the person writing this blog is pure evil. Then they can return safely to their Tod worship.

Tod wants the world to know that he has pleurisy.
Why?
Is this something we should all be doing?
Should we all discuss our medical condition in a public forum for no apparent reason?
Should we feel sorry for Tod?

Isn't that the point of bringing it up?

Tod lives in a very swank apartment, with a Starbucks only an elevator ride away, and spends much of his time seeking fame, fortune and influence, as in power.
Every opportunity is taken to make sure that Tod Maffin's name rises to the top in a Google search, and that every reference is laudatory, in fact, quite often written by Tod himself.
The blogs he controls have a standard policy - positive and flattering comments are highlighted, negative implications are erased.
Tod sees his potential and future prominence as limitless.
He believes his own hype.
He is able to operate on all cylinders, as you can see in the many videos he has posted of himself.

Tonight, there's a person about to find that their life has come to a close as they're lying in an alley at Main & Hastings.

A young woman with children is being slapped hard across the face by her new boyfriend.

A man is returning home without the legs that he had when he went to serve in Afghanistan.


So how has this condition limited his activities or ability to make a living and get even with restaurant owners?
Should we feel sorry for Tod Maffin?

Not me.

Because Tod Maffin is a self-serving asshole.
