Scale Model of Tod Maffin At Work

Tod prefers to think of himself as a hamster as opposed to a gerbil.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with Richard Gere.

Tod Maffin - Gambling With Other People's Money

and losing.

MindfulEye began to tank within a year.

Tod Maffin, President & CEO ... for about a month and a half

... of MindfulEye.

For which he was paid about $25,000.

Tod Maffin, thoughtlessly irritating

Tod posts a video that starts playing as soon as you load his page.
A noisy, loud video.

An act consistent with the Tod Maffin public policy of allowing people one less choice.

Tod Maffin steals his stories from other people

Tod copies facts, even quotes, from the Globe & Mail without acknowledging his source.
We're led to believe that he did the legwork himself.
He's so used to being phony that it's become second nature.

Tod Maffin: "There are many of us"

Tod is in the camp ... and there are many ...

Tod decides to have an OPINION, as compared to having an opinion.
He's obviously running scared.
In one post, he separates his OPINION from the specially chosen facts copied from a newspaper story.

In the piece on Don Cherry, he sees fit to mix news with "views".

A Bitter Tod Maffin

Tod is still pissed off that the CBC censored him - by forcing him to change a headline at insidecbc ...

the red lettering is a link to the earlier headline that Tod is ashamed to have been forced to "clean up" ...

ME! ME! ME!

There would be too many to choose from

Need someone to take two video tapes of a speech I did and make a 3-5 min highlight video for the web. Anyone?

Even though you're asking the impossible, Tod, I'd be happy to edit your videos.

Please send your "videos" on digital DVD's please.
It's a new format (try Wikipedia)
but it's how I prefer to work with images.

Send your videos from the idio, to

Sadly, Tod Maffin Still Works For The CBC

Putting down the company he works for and that feeds him is part of the thrill of being Tod Maffin.
He's a rebel, as we all know.
In this stupid post from today's insidecbc, Maffin puts down Canadian icon Don Cherry.
Well, a movie about him that is going into production.
But a year before it airs, Tod is already wishing that the show will bomb.

"Sadly, it will likely be one of the most-watched programs of the year"

Tod Wants The CBC To Fail (No, seriously)

Because the world revolves around Tod Maffin, and his mirror.

Hear it HERE

Tod Maffin Says "Don't bother walking down the streets of Vancouver anymore".

EXCLUSIVE: Tod Maffin's latest gripe ...

Other people. They're so inconsiderate.
Today, just walking down the street, I was confronted with THIS ...

can you believe it?!?!?!?

I pay taxes in this city, and this is the treatment I get. Shame on you City Council.
I could have written a podcast in the time it's going to take to get around this vehicle.

Tod Maffin Describes Hewlett-Packard As "nearly laughable"

I suspect Tod will soon get a free Epson printer!

Check out HP's OFFICIAL website.

As in OFFICIAL, and not the CBC kind.

Tod Maffin Calls Pollster Ipsos Reid A Sell-Out

As detailed in the post below, entitled "Tod Maffin: "Who needs a Media Hub? ... Not me!""

Maffin-Speak

"They don’t get an opportunity to review or edit or veto anything. They read what I write the same time you do. I suppose if push came to shove and they told me to take something down or edit it, I would."

The CBC reviews everything that he writes on the "official" CBC blog.

None of us will ever live to see the day that Tod Maffin refuses to take something down after the CBC tells him to do so.

I'm sure people at the CBC *READ* the blog, but your statement here that "The CBC reviews" the blog implies that CBC management pre-screens my content.

This is completely inaccurate.

In fact, as a journalist/columnist, editorial independence was one of the key conditions I insisted on in taking the editorship of the blog.

Your inaccurate claim implies that I'm willing to sacrifice my editorial independence to the CBC in exchange for money.

Kindly make a correction to your post.

Thank you.

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
