Tod Maffin takes it to the next level

We all knew Tod Maffin was two-faced ...

but now, it's three!

Tod Has Spoken!

Tod Maffin has a new plan for the future.
A new program. Or is that pogram.

It's no longer inconvenient words that will be banished from insidecbc, it's going to be entire human beings.

insidethecbc.com inside cbc .com

That's interesting the way you've created two separate identities to suit yourself.

Hey, it's my blog, I own the domain name. I can do and say whatever I want.
Unlike the fools that are attracted to this space.

Don't I also have a say in what's shown and what's hidden?

I am you, you idiot.

Oops, I mean D'oh!

Revealed! What really happened to Tod Maffin's TodBits.tv

Tod Maffin - a fake life

James Frey is not alone in trying to embellish his life story.
Tod also likes to re-write history (as well as erase it).

When he published this remark

I asked him what year did Jack Webster broadcast at night, because I was very familiar with Webster's career.
Tod's mind suddenly went blank, and he quickly erased my question.
He prefers to have his lies go unchallenged.

Tod Maffin: "No soup for you!"

from

Only Tod may use the CBC logo.
He prefers to be something that he's not.
But then, if you were Tod Maffin, wouldn't you rather be anything else?

Tod Maffin's Seal of Sleaze

After announcing that the CBC has received 450 requests for Access To Information, from "a single source", Tod Maffin declares that "WE are not allowed say" who that source is.
Later, he amended his comment and directed the public to view the guesses of some guy called Dan Say:

Typical sleazy ethics to suggest that you could attach the names of real people in meaningless speculation about the source of the requests.
Coming from a "Blog Administrator" who doesn't identify themselves while casting aspersions on others.

Only the Blog Administrator is allowed to use the CBC logo as their avatar.
It visually declares the "person" to be a spokesperson for the CBC.
A spokesperson is considered to be part of Administration.

Who is this Blog Administrator?
Is it a human being or a recording?
Someone in Administration at the CBC or a freelancer?
Why the secrecy?

I have 446 more questions.

Tod Maffin is ashamed to be associated with the CMG

Once billing himself as a "proud member" of the Canadian Media Guild, Tod Maffin now prefers to identify himself with CBC Administration.

In a recent post at insidecbc.ca he refers to himself and CBC Administration nine times as "WE", to equipment and staff as being "OUR", and to the Regulatory Affairs branch and himself as "US".

There's also no longer any "identifier", meaning no "ABOUT" link on that web site. No one is prepared to take responsibility for it's nonsense.
When I posed a question, I got back a response from someone called "Administrator".

Justin Beach is almost as smart as Tod Maffin

Earlier today Tod Maffin decided to give the spotlight to one of his internet cronies ...

Justin Beach

A "story" re-cycled from an uninformed Letter To The Editor in the Regina Leader Post, is supposed to highlight the stellar opinions of Justin and Tod.

but it kind of bit them both in the butt ...

Tod Maffin Controls YOU!

Alright, maybe not YOU, but certainly your simple-minded neighbour.

Because Tod Maffin is an "influential blogger".

True, he can't control the weather, but he can control how you think about the weather.

And he influences the people who influence YOU. So you're probably under his control right now anyway whether you admit it or not.

Tod Maffin should read before he writes ...

When Tod Maffin printed this piece yesterday, I guess he didn't bother to read it first before writing the headline ...

Some people will call me a "Language Cop." But I bristle at the term.

Tod Maffin Is Getting A Bad Buzz

A few days ago, Tod Maffin started to get some heat for a story he posted (here), wherein he tried to incorporate his idea of "humour".
In a piece about the RCMP spying on Rene Levesque and the CBC some 40 years ago, he decided to refer to the police as "pigs", then pretend he changed his mind, crossed it out, and referred to them more respectfully.
He's a rebel, don't you know.
(mostly rebelling against the concept of simple honesty, and what's funny).

First to pick up on his idiocy and bad taste was Dust My Broom.

But then a more widely viewed blog picked it up as well.

The comments began to build ...

and Tod The P.R. Expert went into action ...

Note that Tod doesn't deny writing the piece.

But all of a sudden, he's decided to come clean and reveal that insidecbc is also written by people other than himself (!)

Why bring that up when the discussion is only about one particular post?

Yipes.
Doesn't look like the "Official Blog" is reflecting well on the CBC.

But now a more disturbing and more serious issue has been put on the table.
How long have others been writing the insidecbc blog while Tod Maffin was taking credit for the postings?

And who has been allowed to moderate the comments?

And most of all, WHY HAVE WE BEEN MISLEAD AS TO THE AUTHORSHIP OF THE OFFICIAL BLOG OF THE CBC?

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
