Tod Maffin Is Getting A Bad Buzz

A few days ago, Tod Maffin started to get some heat for a story he posted (here), wherein he tried to incorporate his idea of "humour".
In a piece about the RCMP spying on Rene Levesque and the CBC some 40 years ago, he decided to refer to the police as "pigs", then pretend he changed his mind, crossed it out, and referred to them more respectfully.
He's a rebel, don't you know.
(mostly rebelling against the concept of simple honesty, and what's funny).

First to pick up on his idiocy and bad taste was Dust My Broom.

But then a more widely viewed blog picked it up as well.

The comments began to build ...

and Tod The P.R. Expert went into action ...

Note that Tod doesn't deny writing the piece.

But all of a sudden, he's decided to come clean and reveal that insidecbc is also written by people other than himself (!)

Why bring that up when the discussion is only about one particular post?

Yipes.
Doesn't look like the "Official Blog" is reflecting well on the CBC.

But now a more disturbing and more serious issue has been put on the table.
How long have others been writing the insidecbc blog while Tod Maffin was taking credit for the postings?

And who has been allowed to moderate the comments?

And most of all, WHY HAVE WE BEEN MISLEAD AS TO THE AUTHORSHIP OF THE OFFICIAL BLOG OF THE CBC?

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
