Picture of a small gathering of pathetic losers, and sure enough, Tod Maffin is right in the middle of them.

The attendees for a recent clambake of Podcasters Across Borders.
Podcasts have no borders, get it? And they bring medicine and treatment to nerd losers who think they're important but are in fact endowed with far less talent, or even point of view, than most people.
But, they are awesome in their own minds.

They are awesomely nerdy to everyone else.

They are lost, in part because they're following Tod.
They're hoping to get into radio, when Tod actually seems to be on his way out of radio.
And podcasting died a long time ago for Tod Maffin.

See, I told you they were losers.

I can't (obviously) speak for everyone who attended PAB this year, but I can assure you that my participation at the event had NOTHING to do with Tod's presence. All I knew about Tod going in was that he was going to be speaking... But given that they had an open call for speakers a while ago, I thought nothing of it.

I have, for a long time, attended events just like this one to meet other people who are interested in the same type of thing I am. Sometimes I see the same people at multiple events... but often I don't... And I would be quite happy never being on radio - I don't even own one.

The attendees of this event are losers? I disagree. The attendees (speakers included) are some of the smartest, mot-connected and helpful people I've met in all my days. And that goes for every event I've attended.

Perhaps the only looser at play here is the one who has MULTIPLE blogs devoted to following a single person. Hmmm....

Good try.
Thanks for stopping by.

Not only can't you speak for anyone else, but it seems you can't even speak for yourself, anonymous.

It's rather honourable of you to try and defend these twits, but arguing with me about podcasting is a losing proposition on your part (as befits the participants above)because you really haven't a clue who you're dealing with or the viability of podcasting.

But it's interesting to me that you would state that I have multiple blogs about one individual.
What do you base that statement on? What evidence do you have to make this claim?

Only a very special person could make such an observation.
And it's not difficult to narrow down who that person is.

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
