Tod Maffin and the CBC: A License To Suck

Tod Maffin has been jumping up and down with EXCLUSIVE news about the new iPhone.
He called Rogers' PR Dept. to get trivial bits of info that anyone could have guessed already.

But it makes you wonder if he called them and identified himself as a reporter for the CBC in order to claim "authority", even though the information ends up largely on his own blog.
It's typical of Tod to use his association with the CBC to further his own agenda.

But Tod only works part-time with the CBC, making just a few hundred dollars a month.
His main gig is speaking engagements, which earn several thousands a month.
His newest performance piece is titled "Taking Crazy Back".
