The Reprehensible "Ethics" Of The CBC

Tonight, over at insidecbc.com, a cesspool of CBC's hypocrisy, you will come across the following post ...

which shows that Tod Maffin is not the only asshole working at the CBC.
Just the most famous one thanks to this blog.

But a further revelation awaits at the comments section.
When filling out the comment field, you can choose to post under any name you want (eg. Bozo The Clown), but you are required to provide a valid email address (though not necessarily a truthful one - and I have always put my real email address here).

But until recently, there was a third line, where you could place the URL of your website, and when your comment was posted this would be a link to your page.
No one is allowed or able to do that any more.

And yet, miraculously, someone has been able, or rather permitted, to do just that ...

Tod Maffin, who apparently did not write the posting, is allowed to link to his privately held company.
But no one else!

I suppose it's an example of what people mean when they say "it's nice to have friends in high places".

Even if they're low-lifes.

What's your problem?

Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.

It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
