Tod Maffin Is At A Loss (of memory)
Tod ...
At no time have I ever refered to the Ipsos Reid company as "a sell-out."
As a consultant in the Canadian social media space, I have a relationship with the Ipsos Reid firm.
This inaccurate statement clearly uses tortious speech to interfere with a business interest of mine.
Kindly correct the headline and post this clarification in the body of the post.
Thank you.
Then tell us what you meant when you wrote this post, Tod.
And stop whining and wasting my time with your complaints.
And don't worry, Tod, Ipsos Reid doesn't give a shit what you think. Or about your "relationship" with them.

... you're defaming me, Tod Maffin, by claiming I'm defaming you ...
DE-Fame Game with Tod Maffin
'This is not true and, in fact, defamatory.
I would appreciate a change to your headline. (I have never described HP as "nearly laughable" and your inability to provide a source/reference to any such statement proves the point.)
Further, the implication that I receive free products from tech companies for criticizing their competitors is defamatory in nature."

Tod's Snit Fit
Nearly a week has passed since I asked you to make a correction to this inaccurate and defamatory statement.
Even though you have continued to post other articles on this blog, you have chosen to ignore this request.
I have a business and financial relationship with the CBC. My dealings with the CBC form a substantial part of my income.
Further, as a technology journalist and professional public speaker, my reputation for having editorial independence is among the things which form my income.
Your claim that I changed a headline on the CBC blog because someone at the CBC directed me to is inaccurate and defamatory.
I would appreciate an correction to this post, and an apology post on your blog.
I'll await your response.
You may have to wait a bit as I formulate a response.
Believe it or not I have other things going on in my life besides your bullshit.
I'm sure people at the CBC *READ* the blog, but your statement here that "The CBC reviews" the blog implies that CBC management pre-screens my content.
This is completely inaccurate.
In fact, as a journalist/columnist, editorial independence was one of the key conditions I insisted on in taking the editorship of the blog.
Your inaccurate claim implies that I'm willing to sacrifice my editorial independence to the CBC in exchange for money.
Kindly make a correction to your post.

What's your problem?
Tod Maffin's version of absolute power.
I wrote a comment at a famous blog.
Tod didn't like it, and took the intial steps of legal action to have it removed.
He was successful.
It made me an unhappy camper.
And I happen to really like it here.
